Normandy holiday rules

Check tides and wind. The beaches are huge and beautiful, but the useful bit of beach changes fast. Wind can turn a “simple beach day” into a sandblasting.

Do history in small doses. Utah and Sainte-Mere-Eglise are excellent with kids if you keep the museum/story chunk tight, then reward it with beach, crepes or harbour time.

Keep one rainy-day ace. La Cite de la Mer is the best bad-weather card. Do not waste it on a perfect beach morning unless everyone needs a reset.
